Discover the Rich History of Bailey's Tire Service

Bailey's Tire Service was started by Mr. Floyd Bailey back in 1977. He started out by buying the Canal Station located at 313 Grand Caillou Road and began selling used tires. Over time, he and his family expanded the business to include new tires, front-end work, brakes, and alignments.

In 2013, Mr. Floyd retired, and his son Randy took over. Randy added a few other services, like oil changes.

At the end of 2015, Randy and his mom decided to sell the business to the Cressonie family from Raceland—Jamie, Charlene, and their son TJ—who also own the old Carol’s Shell (TJ’s Shell Station) in Lockport. They officially took over in July 2016 and continued running the business at 313 Grand Caillou Road until August 2021, when Hurricane Ida hit Houma and demolished the location.

Three months later, they moved to 1151 St. Charles Street in Houma, determined to keep the business going. We're now in the same building as Diamond C Off-Road and Audio. We still offer all the same services we did at the previous Bailey’s location—so come out and see Randy. He’s a great guy!

Here it is, 2025, and we’re still here—48 years after a man had a dream of being in business and providing for his family.
